#IVotedYes is trending and is packed with some incredibly uplifting tweets

Whoever held the Stena Line ferry is a hero.

IN CASE YOU have been living in the sea, Ireland is currently in the middle of voting of whether or not we should repeal the 8th Amendment. It’s pretty tense and everyone is quite emotional as you would imagine.

Over on Twitter #IVotedYes is trending and if you’re already on the verge of crying because you voted or because you’re waiting to vote then this might send you over the edge.

Here are just SOME of the best.

People are very enthusiastic.

We have no time for stupid statements.

We’ve got our to do lists.

And our plans for later.

Shoutout to Stena Line for holding a boat for some late comers who got delayed.

Like they held up the whole boat. Legends.

This couple cut short their holiday to fly home today to vote!

While some people were on their second trip home.

And some just did what they had to do.

Some were reflective on how far we’ve come as a country.

While others reminded us who we were doing this for.

But above Irish women are proving today that no matter what the odds, they are absolutely unstoppable.

And I mean UNSTOPPABLE.
