Jacob's are just taunting the jelly star mourners now
EARLIER THIS WEEK, we brought you the very sad news that Jacob’s had chosen to withdraw the much-loved jelly star biscuit from the Afternoon Tea selection.
There has been absolute consternation since, with biscuit lovers all over the country calling for the jelly star to be reinstated, and a Cork bakery producing a very delicious-looking substitute.
Apart from their initial statement, Jacob’s have kept pretty schtum on the outcry – but today they tweeted this.
