Singer Jamelia said shops should ban plus size clothing, and people are not happy

SINGER AND FORMER The Voice of Ireland judge Jamelia has come under fire for saying that plus size clothing should be banned from high street shops.
While discussing teenage obesity on panel show Loose Women today, Jamelia said that very fat and very skinny people should have go to “specialist shops” to find clothes to wear.
“I am all for celebrating people as they are. I think everyone should have access to lovely clothes,” she said. “But I do not think it’s right to facilitate people living an unhealthy lifestyle.”
Loose Women viewers immediately took her to task over the comments, asking how plus size clothing could ‘normalise’ obesity:
