James Kavanagh has shared some words of wisdom ahead of this year's Leaving Cert

Preach James, preach.

IT’S A WELL-KNOWN fact that you will – until your dying day – endure Leaving Cert-related nightmares.

It’s a harsh reality but the sooner you accept it, the sooner it just fits into your REM cycle, and becomes part of your DNA.

Simple as.

Considered the most important exam we’ll ever sit, the Leaving had most of us tied in knots as we highlighted and re-highlighted the summary sections of every Less Stress More Success book we could get our hands on.

And it’s just a crying feckin’ shame we didn’t have James Kavangh to reassure us as we prepared ourselves to sit the horror that was English Paper II, cos that lad has the suss.

Taking to Instagram today, James shared a screenshot of an exam-related Twitter thread he contributed to, and holy Jaysus if it doesn’t give you hope, we don’t know what will.

We mean, need he say anymore?

Well, actually, yes. And he does it in the accompanying Instagram caption where he elaborates on his career trajectory thus far.

As every person over the age of 18 in Ireland is required to do by law, James urged Leaving Cert students to try their best, but maintain a level head.

OBVIOUSLY try your best and all that. But I literally got enough points to do a basket weaving course on the Aran Islands (which I regret not doing tbh, sounds stunning) but I somehow landed a job in PR for 6 years and now I’m doing my own bits and who knows where I’ll be in 5 years? But know that there are many roads to a happy life. Don’t over-stress yourself. Put your blinkers on, do your bits and do you at your own pace.

Step aside Miggeldy.... if you wouldn't mind, just for a sec, like.
