ON FRIDAY’S EPISODE of The Late Late Show, there was plenty for viewers to complain about. Liam Neeson‘s comments, for instance.

One of the most innocuous parts of the show was a new bin segment on the show. A lot of viewers were baffled by how long it went on for but ultimately, it was fairly harmless.

You can watch it here, if you so wish. It’s a good 15 minutes long though. They weren’t exaggerating about the running time.

After the show aired, James Kavanagh stumbled across a comment one viewer made about him on Twitter. They wrote:

Are we all in agreement that self-proclaimed Snapchat queen James Kavanagh is a disgrace to gays, reinforcing stereotypes and setting the gay agenda back 100 years #LateLate Why is she even on this show? We pay a license this is unforgivable #Shame on you #rte.

James took to Instagram to apologise for setting the gay agenda back 100 years.

In his Instagram post that has since gotten 9,000 likes, James wrote:

Damn it! I hate when I accidentally set The Gay Agenda back 100 years. Sorry Liam, sorry gays. I promise to make amends. By Monday it’s business as usual for The Gay Agenda. Turn everyone into glittery drag queens.

Fans of the Snapchatter didn’t feel the same way as Liam, writing “I wish you had your own bloody show on RTÉ. Is there a petition I could sign or something?” and “Seriously, you’re a breath of fresh air.”

It’s not the first time James Kavanagh addressed hate he’s encountered online head on. Someone once wrote:

I have literally never seen anyone with such bad dress sense. It’s not even like you have your own cool style going on. It’s just from head to toe horrendous! You either dress like that for attention or you seriously need a buyer to help you with your clothes.

James responded by printing this comment on a t-shirt.
