Light House Cinema in Smithfield is hosting a Jeff Goldblum day next week

EVERYONE IS MAD about Jeff Goldblum at the moment (or more accurately – since Jurassic Park) so Light House Cinema decided to celebrate him this Bloomsday, on Friday the 16th of June.
Get out of the way James Joyce, you stupid nerd, it’s Jeff Goldblum’s time to shine.

They’ve selected three of his most iconic performances to screen over the course of the day.
It’ll kick off with a 5.30pm screening of Independence Day, a movie in which aliens invade the earth and mankind must fight back against their superior technology to survive.
Next on the bill is The Lost World: Jurassic Park at 8.15pm. Then finally at 10:45pm, they’ll be playing The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, which follows oceanographer Steve Zissou as he rallies a crew to exact revenge on a mythical shark that killed his partner.
