Jennifer Lawrence has written a glowing essay about her good friend Adele

Hey, gals. BE OUR FRIENDS TOO.

TAYLOR SWIFT MAY have created the term ‘squad goals’, but we know whose Whatsapp group we want to muscle in on: Jennifer Lawrence and Adele’s.

Their friendship was revealed to the world last year, when the singer was spotted on a night out with Lawrence and Emma Stone – and now J Law has honoured her friend in a charming essay for Time magazine.

Writing about Adele for the 100 Most Influential People list, Lawrence said that they met at the Oscars in 2013, after her performance of Skyfall.

She fangirled, to say the least:

…When 21 came out, mine and billions of other lives were – not to sound dramatic – changed. Suddenly there were words to that before-indescribable pain, frustration, sadness, then revolution that all comes from a breakup. I felt understood, I felt stronger, and above all, I hadn’t sung in front of a mirror with a hairbrush since Destiny’s Child.

What you don’t see is what a wonderful mother she is. What a wonderful partner and friend she is. That she makes her son’s Halloween costumes. Adele is a gift, an international treasure, but she’s also sweet, funny, intelligent and beautiful.

Then, in true J Law fashion, the clincher: “Bitch.”

Read the whole essay here, and redefine ‘squad goals’ for yourself.
