98FM PRESENTER JEREMY Dixon has been batting off criticism on Twitter today after he posted what he described as a ‘gag’ about women.

The gag backfired somewhat with other users quickly taking him to task.

The tweet has since disappeared, with the radio host claiming that it “must have been reported”.

He’s since gone on to again qualify his original tweet as a “joke” and “social satire”.
