JEREMY KYLE KNOWS a thing or two about pregnancies – in particular, the complications they can cause within relationships.
He regularly deals with the issues on The Jeremy Kyle Show.
Alright, so maybe he doesn’t have a degree in medicine, but you’d think the show has given him pretty vast knowledge on the topic.
Well, think again.
The TV presenter was schooled this morning as he fills in for Piers Morgan on Good Morning Britain.
Discussing the Scottish Government’s decision to give baby boxes to all new mothers, Kyle questioned why the box contained condoms.
Why are there condoms in a box to given new mothers?”
The Minister for Children & Early Years Mark McDonald went on to explain.
“I thought you would have done enough episodes of The Jeremy Kyle Show to understand how this process works,” he said.
There is an issue about getting an understanding for parents that a woman is exceptionally fertile post-partum … We want to encourage and ensure parents don’t experience unexpected second pregnancies.”
Fair tbh.
Obviously, the internet had a go at Jeremy over his gaffe.
Mark couldn’t resist getting one last little slight in at the end as well …
Sassy.
