Jetlagged and windswept, the Obamas' European tour battles on
THE AMERICAN first couple, Barack and Michelle Obama, are on the second leg of their European tour – an official state visit to Britain .
But it hasn’t all been plain sailing so far for the Obamas.
The President already seemed to be struggling with the fast pace of the European tour, as he inadvertantly went back to the future and entered the date as “24 May 2008″ on the visitors’ book in Westminister Abbey.
Meanwhile, wife Michelle struggled – again – with the wind, as a near-wardrobe crisis was averted.
Barack goes back to the future
Um....Mr President?
Uh-oh. There's that breeze again...
Michelle can't decide whether to save the hair or the dress.
"And next thing, the wind whooshed it up..."
A few hours - and a can of hairspray - later.
Don't they look lovely?
