Jimmy Fallon reunited the Saved By The Bell cast, and it was wonderful

By the time I grab my books and I give myself a look I’m at the corner just in time to see the BUS FLY BY!

AFTER GIVING US such wonders Daniel Radcliffe rapping and Kevin Spacey’s celebrity impressions, Jimmy Fallon has continued his excellent streak by getting the Saved By The Bell cast back together.

The Tonight Show has moved to LA for the week, as announced in Jimmy’s retread of the Fresh Prince of Bel Air theme tune (which featured Alfonso Ribeiro and Jazzy Jeff, naturally).

Since he’s in the neighbourhood, Fallon decided to get the Saved By The Bell gang back together for a skit – sadly minus Lark Voorhies (Lisa Turtle) and not-so-sadly Dustin Diamond (AKA Screech).

The almighty racket the audience makes when Mark-Paul Gosselaar appears at the top of stairs says it all, really.

Here’s a quick rundown of what these four are doing now:

  • Mark-Paul Gosselaar (Zach Morris) is still acting, and has a recurring role in CSI;
  • Tiffany Amber Thiessen (Kelly Kapowski) is pregnant in real life and finished up in TV drama White Collar last year;
  • Elizabeth Berkley (Jesse Spano) is revered as the star of cult classic Showgirls, and went down the reality TV route on the US Strictly Come Dancing in 2013;
  • Mario Lopez (AC Slater) is a successful TV host, presenting the US X Factor in 2013.

And they all look just as youthful as they did in the 90s. Hollywood, everyone.
