WHEN THE CRACK team behind Jimmy Kimmel Live! took to the streets to quiz members of the public on world geography, we knew it could make for potentially awkward viewing.
But, Christ alive, none of us were prepared for the sh*tshow that ensued.
When presented with a pointer, a map and a simple request to identify any country on it, a terrifying number of people were unable to deliver.
Many confused continents with countries, others confused north with south, and some even questioned who could possibly complete such an outlandish task.
No, seriously.
But no sooner had we given up hope and awaited merciful death, we were introduced to a young lad who actually had his sh*t together.
We’re talking a true beacon of light in what had been a brief snapshot into a dark, dark abyss.
And YouTube wasn’t about to let the moment pass without celebrating the kid, and the effortless way he restored their faith in humanity.
When they showed the kid at the end I turned my thumb down to thumb up. The rest: SHAME on you.
What is wrong with the educational system in the USA? This is extremely embarrassing, but the kid at the end made my day.
I have never gotten so happy as I did when the last kid came on. I have faith in humanity.
Take a look if your tolerance levels can handle it.
