JK Rowling wonderfully defended Ireland against the Westboro Baptist Church

Yaaaaas queen.

HARRY POTTER AUTHOR J.K. Rowling is fast becoming the best celebrity on Twitter.

Her excellent comebacks are no surprise when you consider her imagination, but this one to the Westboro Baptist Church has to take the crown.

The notoriously anti-gay group have taken issue with Irelandโ€™s choice to allow same-sex marriage, and Rowling has a few choice words for them.

Rowling tweeted congratulations early Saturday when it looked like the referendum would pass.

The Westboro baptist church, however, took to slagging off the Ivory coast.

They also took issue with this tweet, in which J.K used a meme when replying to an Irish fan

She hit back

When challenged about how replying and giving them attention may be counterproductive, she offered this reasoning

Oh Jo, never change
