Among the lucky celebrities who got to go on a first date with a stranger in front of the nation, was The Only Way Is Essex’s Jess Wright, Paralympic table-tennis player Will Bayley, actor Richard Blackwood, and TV presenter Esther Rantzen.
But it was a mere citizen that stole the hearts and minds of all… Esther was set up with a VERY Irish defence lawyer, John.
The 68-year-old was the absolute perfect gentleman, but broke our hearts
