BOTH JOHN LEGEND and his wife Chrissy Teigen have been exceptionally vocal in their condemnation of President Trump’s policies ever since the former reality star entered the 2016 presidential race.
Indeed, Chrissy found herself blocked by the POTUS on Twitter after she told him that no one liked him. No, seriously.
And in recent days as debate surrounding border control in the United States heightens, John, a father of two, has directed his contempt towards House Speaker, Paul Ryan.
As images of young children being separated from their immigrant parents circulated around the world, Paul Ryan took to Twitter to discuss the impact becoming a father had on his outlook.
My life changed the day I became a father. Liza, Charlie, and Sam are my highest priority. Wishing all of the dads out there a happy early #FathersDay pic.twitter.com/w3UsSkR4Lf

And John Legend wasn’t having it.
In response to a post which saw Ryan celebrate the importance of family and fatherhood, the musician urged the politician to address the separation of families at US borders.
Seriously, fuck you. Reunite the families at the border and we can talk about father's day. https://t.co/bbG0gVqfzq

Unsurprisingly, John’s reaction to Ryan’s post has been met with a mixed response.
Debate raged beneath the post, with some supporting John’s stance and others insisting that the Trump Administration has been demonised.
