The American dad of four who owns the @johnlewis Twitter handle fields hundreds and hundreds of queries meant for the department store each year.
They ramp up spectacularly around the time of their annual Christmas ad, but he’s always ready for them:
His laid-back approach to re-directing irate customers and fans alike to the real John Lewis account (@johnlewisretail) has made him a minor internet celebrity.

This year, as a thank you for acting as an unofficial receptionist, the shop sent John Lewis a huge thank you package.
