Judd Apatow fairly laid into Bill Cosby on Twitter over the weekend

The comedy producer didn’t mince his words at all.

AS MORE AND more accusations continue to pile up against Bill Cosby, director Judd Apatow took to Twitter over the weekend to call out a number of Canadian venues at which Cosby is supposed to perform in 2015.

On Saturday, the Knocked Up director publicly asked this Ontario venue whether they were going to allow Cosby to perform even in the midst of the recent rape allegations.

He asked the same question of Budweiser Gardens, another Ontario venue where Cosby is scheduled to perform on January 8th.

Many people took to Twitter to defend Cosby, but Apatow did not relent.

He also addressed people’s reluctance to believe the accusers.

Apatow is one of the most prominent figures in the entertainment industry to speak out on the allegations circling Cosby. Fellow comedian Patton Oswalt called the allegations a “very badly kept secret” amongst comics.

At least 27 women have publicly accused Cosby of rape with many of the alleged crimes dating back decades.

Attention was drawn to the allegations in October when comedian Hannibal Buress referred to Cosby as a “rapist” in one of his sets, a clip from which subsequently went viral.

Cosby has vehemently denied all accusations in statements issued through his lawyers, but has, for the most part, remained silent throughout.
