Judd Apatow says Bill Cosby should 'absolutely' be in prison

The influential comedy producer has spoken out publicly.

JUDD APATOW HAS continued his public crusade against Bill Cosby, this time saying he “absolutely” would like to see him go to jail.

Speaking on Marc Maron’s WTF Podcast yesterday, the Knocked Up director moved away from his Twitter tirades on the subject and spoke out in person.

“I absolutely would like to see him in jail,” Apatow told Maron. “That’s where people who commit sexual assaults go.”

He followed up his appearance on the show with this tweet:

As Time reports, Apatow spoke out about the lack of other celebrities voicing their opposition to Cosby – saying this is the reason he continues to address it publicly.

If everybody was talking about it, I probably wouldn’t have much to say about it. But I don’t want it to suddenly disappear and then he kind of just goes back out on the road and does his thing.

At least 27 women have publicly accused Cosby of rape with many of the alleged crimes dating back decades.

Cosby has vehemently denied all accusations in statements issued through his lawyers, but has, for the most part, remained silent throughout.
