Julianne Moore takes on Sarah Palin
WE’VE SEEN COMEDIAN Tina Fey do her (hilariously) but now we get a more serious depiction of Sarah Palin from another Hollywood heavyweight.
HBO has cast Julianne Moore as the ambitious politician plucked from Alaskan obscurity to stand beside John McCain during the 2008 US Presidential Election.
In the adaptation of Mark Halperin and John Heilemann’s book Game Change*, Moore nails the look and the accent of the then-governor.
With the line, “Get me a woman”, Ed Harris also seems to be doing a mighty fine job of the Senator himself. This 52-second teaser does exactly what it intends. We already want more.
*The book was released on this side of the Atlantic with the title Race of a Lifetime.
