Justin Bieber has addressed why he quit his world tour with an emotional open letter on Instagram
LAST WEEK, JUSTIN Bieber cancelled the remainder of his Purpose World Tour citing “unforeseen circumstances.”
This led to a whirlwind of speculation about what had happened, a backlash from some fans put out by the cancellations and a reminder from John Mayer that the decision was probably not taken lightly – and people should bear that in mind when complaining:
Justin hadn’t addressed the cancellation until late last night, when he published this screenshot of a letter he had typed out
He began:
Bieber continued:
He then referenced how enjoyable the Purpose Tour was for him, but that he had to cancel it so he could be “sustainable”:
He finished:
He left the letter with reference to the grammatical errors in the post, but that there’s “something special about imperfections.”
Just before he posted the letter, Bieber praised John Mayer calling him a “boss on every level”
Possibly a shoutout for Mayer’s much-publicised defence of Bieber when the initial news broke.
Get well soon, Justin.
