Woman asked to leave US McDonald's for having a baby kangaroo in a car seat

Oh y’know, just a baby kangaroo in a car seat. As you do.

A WOMAN WAS asked to leave a McDonald’s in Wisconsin after another customer complained about her pet kangaroo.

CBS Minnesota reports that a police officer responded to an anonymous complaint from a customer about a woman who had brought a kangaroo to the fast food eatery.

The officer said that when he confronted the woman about the kangaroo, she said it was a ‘service animal’ to help her cope with emotional distress, and produced a note from her doctor.

(Yes, apparently you can get doctor’s notes for pet kangaroos.)

According to the police officer, the baby kangaroo was wrapped up in a blanket and tucked into a human baby’s car seat.

When asked about the incident, McDonald’s said that its policy is to make its restaurants “accessible to all customers, including those with disabilities and special needs”.

Not kangaroos, then?
