The doctor who operated on Kanye West’s late mother shared an open letter saying that he’s flattered that the rapper would use him for the cover of his new album.
In the message, Jan Adams says he does not wish to be featured on Kanye’s upcoming record, while also stating that he must “cease and desist using my photo or any image of me to promote your album or any of your work.”
On Saturday, Kanye tweeted a text conversation in which he says Adams’ face was going to be the cover of his upcoming album.
Adams further states that he doesn’t wish to appear “ungrateful,” but adds that if Kanye’s words are true, then it’s “inappropriate to drag the negativity of the past with it.”
He concludes by stating he is willing to have a longer conversation in a face-to-face meeting with Ye.
