In fact, that moody head is practically his trademark, so it’s hardly surprising we find it vaguely unsettling when the performer chooses to crack a smile once every three years or so.
And given that fact, we’re often left wondering whether he’s enjoying himself at all, at all.
Luckily enough, Ellen DeGeneres was on the case this week, and enlisted the help of Kim Kardashian to get a measure of the rapper’s contentment levels.

In a game entitled ‘Is Kanye Happy or Not Happy?’ Ellen presented Kim with a series of images including her own birthday party, a family portrait and the Met Ball.
While we’d have wagered Kanye was miserable AF in each and every one, we’ll give his wife the benefit of the doubt with her responses that suggested Kanye was only lovin’ life in most of them.

Kim took it all in her stride until an image of their wedding flashed up and the mum-of-three looked slightly wrongfooted, saying: “Of course, he’s happy.”
And yes, we’ll admit it, we did think Kim seemed vaguely sad that the photo had been included.
