WATCH: The Kanye West sitcom clip you never thought you'd see

Kanye West and Larry David worked together apparently.

KANYE WEST IS a man of many talents but we didn’t think that sitcom star would ever be one of them.

West worked on a sitcom pilot with comedy titan and Curb Your Enthusiasm writer / star Larry David back in 2008 but the project was never commissioned for a full series.

David told ComingSoon.net back in 2008 that US cable network HBO (home to Curb Your Enthusiasm and shows like Game of Thrones and The Sopranos) passed on the series, saying:

What Kanye West said to me the first time, he said, ‘I’m the black Larry David.’ That’s the first thing he said to me. So it’s like a Kanye and ‘Curb’ show, it’s kind of improvised about the situations and stuff. It was really good, but again I think it was too hardcore for HBO

Still, we can now have a look at a snippet from the show which has been making the rounds online over the last few hours after appearing in the show reel of actress Alison Quinn.

It’s not bad but we’re still not convinced Kanye has an Emmy-winning sitcom in him:
