Someone is sending fake Kanye West album announcements to Irish journalists
THIS MORNING, A number of journalists around the world received a mysterious card.
It looked suspiciously like the announcement of Kanye West’s much-anticipated new album, which has been the subject of considerable speculation.
This is what dropped through our door: a card announcing “Kanye West’s New Testament – available June 10 2014″.

On the back was a message with an illegible signature:

It’s a quote from a 2013 interview with Kanye, on a Los Angeles radio station. Dozens of other outlets also received the cards, including Complex and The AV Club. Each had a different Kanye quote.
So is this the new Yeezy album? Well, in short… no. A spokesperson told Buzzfeed:
Complex did some digging and discovered that the image appears to have originated on two Twitter and Facebook accounts, both set up on May 29th. There is also a Reddit thread with similar information.
Sorry, everyone. Kanye’s been too busy going to the cinema in Portlaoise.
