Katherine Heigl has apologised for posting 'inappropriate' photos from a cemetery in New York
WE DON’T KNOW about you, but selfies are generally the last thing on our minds when we visit a graveyard.
The same, however, can’t be said for Katherine Heigl, who recently posted a series of questionable photos during a visit to a cemetery in Buffalo, New York.

The actress, who is best known for her roles in Grey’s Anatomy, Knocked Up and Suits, happily posed alongside statues of angels, and joked about ‘getting the gossip with the girls’.
Meanwhile, her husband, Josh Kelley, deemed it appropriate to crouch in front of a gravestone with his surname on it – a decision which was photograped by Katherine and captioned: “He found his own grave which was weird.”

Yeah, not exactly the graveyard etiquette many of us are accustomed to.
And unsurprisingly, the actress’s followers were quick to voice their criticism, with most highlighting the insensitivity of the Instagram post.
The backlash caused Katherine to reconsider her decision to post the photos, and swiftly deleted them.
The 39-year-old then posted two Instagram videos, apologising for the ill-advised posts and thanked her followers for drawing her attention to the misguided decision.
Katherine went on to say her intention was to make a difficult moment a little more lighthearted.
Katherine’s videos have been met with positivity, with her followers applauding her for tackling the criticism head-on.
