Kevyn Aucoin now ships to Ireland - here are 4 products to suss

Lots of shiny things here for you makeup magpies.

BEAUTY E-RETAILERS HAVE been killing the absolute game of late when it comes to updating their stock with some missing big name brands.

We’re now looking enough to be able to get Storybook, Milani and e.l.f. products delivered to our doors without the extortionate shipping costs. (We’re still waiting on Tarte though).

Now, Cloud 10 Beauty and BeautyBay stock an absolute gem of a high-end beauty brand – Kevyn Aucoin.

Some background on the brand – Kevyn Aucoin is household name within the makeup world, writing several best-selling books on makeup application, tips and techniques.

He was the most sought-after makeup artist of the time, painting the faces of Cindy Crawford and Janet Jackson, among many others.

He launched his brand, Kevyn Aucoin Beauty in 2001, adopting the mantra that there was no right nor wrong when it came to makeup, only creativity, confidence, and kindness.

Being true to yourself is the only real road to happiness.”

Kevyn passed away in 2002, leaving behind a legacy that remains unchallenged within beauty.

Kevyn Aucoin Beauty is comprised of products which seek to enhance natural beauty – think skin friendly formulas and versatile shades.

So, what products might be worth forking out money for?

Kevyn Aucoin ‘The Volume’ mascara (€25)

Beauty editors LOVE Kevyn Aucoin mascars, but this one in particular is a favourite among those in the know.

Despite the name, this mascara is a skinny wanded fiend, separating lashes with ease.

It’s not a pain in the hole to remove, (just use warm water, appaz), but also seemingly doesn’t flake at all? I haven’t tried it myself to vouch for it, but if the claim is true, that’s some serious eyelash witchcraft I want in on.

The Neo Trio Palette (on offer on BeautyBay for €34.70)

Ok, first of all – look at them. The colour gradient … I cannot.

The trio is made up of a highlighter, bronzer and setting powder, packing pigment in universally flattering shades.

You can also mix the highlighter and the setting powder together if you fancy something lighter and brighter.

These are limited edition, so if you do end up lusting after these, you better work fast. You can also buy them separately but buying them together works out cheaper, obvs.

The Molten Lip Colour topcoats (on offer on BeautyBay for €18.50)

With beauty junkies now seeking longer lasting lip-colour, as a well as a variety of different finishes, topcoats are now back in fashion.

This bad boy “contains multi-dimensional pearls that illuminate lips with the most intense pigments for a voluminous 3D reflection”. So there ya go.

Bascially, if you’ve a matte liquid lipstick, but fancy a more ‘shattered glass’ look with a pastel tint, you should be all over these.

Kevyn Aucoin The Creamy Glow Duo in ‘Candlelight’ (€25)

If you saw the Lavendar highlighter from the Neo-Trio and shuddered, might I suggest this subtle alternative?

Wayne Goss, of gossmakeupartist on YouTube, loves this for a ‘a lit from within’, ‘your skin but better’, ‘whatever other cliché you can think of’ look.

If you’re still searching for subtle contour kit, you could well be in luck with this one.
