Khloé Kardashian wants you to know that manicures and motherhood can co-exist

‘Trust me, I manage just fine.’

IF YOU FOLLOW Khloé Kardashian on Instagram, it’s unlikely a recent upload will have escaped your attention.

Over the weekend, the 34-year-old uploaded a shot of her fingernails, and as has been known to happen when a Kardashian and an Instagram user meet, all hell broke loose.

In sharing the photograph of her manicure, Khloé opened herself up to a world of shame, as members of the public claimed that the length of her nails meant that she automatically played no part in caring for her baby daughter, True.

We mean, you know that old equation, right?

Well obviously she @khloekardashian is not the one who cares for her daughter. The nannies do it. Khloe just uses her baby for photo ops.
Pretty, but how do you take care of a baby with those long nails!
Khloe is more into her nails than her baby!

And so on and so forth.

The thread of negativity which ran beneath the upload obviously irritated Khloé to the point that she felt compelled to respond to the criticism on Twitter earlier today.

In a post which has been liked almost 9,000 times, Khloé encouraged everyone to direct their concern elsewhere.

It’s annoying when people talk about my nails. Trust me, I manage just fine. The same way I take care of myself, I take care of my baby. There are more serious things to discuss. At least I would hope.

Luckily enough for Khloé, Twitter was a more accepting place in this instance, and users were all for the notion that manicures and motherhood can and do exist in harmony.

Now, we can all sleep easy.
