11 of the sarkiest Twitter responses to the announcement of Khloé Kardashian's baby's name

The irony isn’t lost on people.

FIVE DAYS AGO, Khloé Kardashian gave birth in the midst of an intense media storm.

In addition to reports that her partner, Tristan Thompson, had been unfaithful throughout her pregnancy, rumours also swirled that her mother, Kris Jenner, had orchestrated the entire media circus which ensued.

Not exactly ideal.

Oh, and that was before rumours started circulating that the 33-year-old reality star and businesswoman had faked her pregnancy.

As you do.

So, with the sheer amount of speculation surrounding the misrepresentations, misgivings and myths of the last nine months,  fans and followers find it pretty ironic that Khloé chose to name her newborn daughter, True.

Twitter naturally kicked into gear immediately after Khloe’s announcement on Instagram yesterday.

And a field day was being had, people.

And then Kris Jenner weighed in, and revealed the reason behind the baby girl’s name.

Way to ruin everyone’s fun, Kris.

I’m so excited to welcome my precious little granddaughter True!!! FUN FACT… my Grandfather’s name on my Dad’s side was True Otis Houghton….my Dad’s name was Robert True Houghton…so i am so excited Khloe named her daughter True!

Naturally, Twitter couldn’t care less about the family history, and were only mad to get back to the task at hand – throwing digs at Tristan.

Have at it, lads.
