Some prankster flew a Kilkenny flag over the Waterford courthouse today
KILKENNY AND WATERFORD played out another epic All-Ireland hurling semi final on Saturday evening in Thurles.
And while Kilkenny edged it on the day, both teams came out of the match with the whole country admiring their courage and play.
This morning, some Kilkenny prankster took the opportunity to play a little joke by flying the county colours from the Waterford Courthouse

The courthouse is currently under reconstruction, so it’s not exactly an official sign that the cats have taken over – but that won’t make it an easier sight for the Waterford fans.
Spotted by @FM_Ireland on Twitter this morning in the city, he told DailyEdge.ie that it “wasn’t up long” and that he walked past again an hour later and it was gone.
We can probably just chalk this down as another chapter in the long and healthy hurling rivalry between the two neighbouring counties.
