Pharrell saved Kim Kardashian from a burning dress - by jumping on her

LAST NIGHT, ALL the stars were out for the CFDA Awards in New York – with Kim Kardashian making an impression in a feathered and sheer gown, above.

Also in attendance was Pharrell Williams and his wife Helen Lasichanh. Look at them there:

Little did they know the drama that was about to go down later that night – as Kim tells us on her Instagram page today

Turns out, Pharrell and Helen were the unlikely saviours of Kim’s dress, as the caption reads:

Shout out to Pharrell & Helen who saved my life last night! LOL After the awards at dinner the feathers of my dress caught on fire from a candle & they jumped on me to get it out! #WereOn[fire]

Quite the eventful after party, then.

Still, everyone survived what could have been a real fashion faux pas for Kimye.
