KIM KARDASHIAN shared a heartbreaking account of her ‘tragic, horrific’ Paris robbery on her show Keeping Up With The Kardashians last night.
In October of 2016, the reality star was tied up and robbed at gunpoint at her hotel room, taking three months away from the spotlight to recover from the incident.
As of January, ten suspects have been charged, including the alleged ringleaders.
Last night’s episode of KUWTK took in the family’s trip to Paris, as well as the robbery - describing what happened to her sisters Khloe and Kourtney, Kim explained that her mouth was taped over to stop her screaming.
She said she was “mentally prepared” to be raped and killed:
He grabs my legs and I wasn’t, you know, I had no clothes on under. He pulled me towards him at the front of the bed… I fully, mentally prepped myself – and then he didn’t.
He duct-taped my legs together and had the gun up to me… I knew that was the moment they were going to shoot me in the head. I’m not going to make it out of here. I know how these things go.
Kim believes the intruders knew she was alone from her and Kourtney’s Snapchats, which showed the latter out with their bodyguard Pascal Duvier.
She described pleading with the hotel concierge, who had been forced to let the robbers into her room, to tell them to let her live. The men then put her in the bathtub before fleeing with €9m worth of jewellery.
Earlier on Sunday, Kim took to Instagram to explain that the episode would be “very tough” for her – but she thought it was important to share her story in her own words:
I have always shared so much and I’m not going to hold back when this was probably one of the most life-changing experiences for me. I would never wish this experience upon anyone, but have learned some valuable lessons and feel so blessed to be home safe with my babies and husband.
“I took a tragic, horrific experience and did not let it diminish me, rather grew and evolved and allowed it to teach me,” she said.
