THERE’S NO SHORTAGE of ice cream and gelato flavours in Dublin. From avocado to gin and tonic, at this stage you would think we’ve seen it all.
However this month, we are proven wrong by a Kopparberg popup in Dundrum Town Centre that’s selling soft-serve Kopparberg ice creams.
Nobody was ever expecting to hear the combination of the words “cider ice cream” but it actually looks pretty good.
The fact that it’s soft-serve is even more appealing because we really take soft-serve ice cream for granted any time that there’s no ice cream van present (which is a lot of the time). The ice cream is topped with raspberrys and a raspberry Kopparberg syrup.
The popup is set up in a “Garden of Pure Imagination” designed by Diarmuid Gavin and it will be there until the end of July.
It features a Kopparberg Fruit Market where they’ll sell Kopparberg cocktails as well as the usual flavours of the cider.
It’s open from 12-9pm daily and seems like it could be a nice spot to hang out, especially if we manage to get one more sunny day out of 2017.
