Kristen Bell wants to remove the stigma attached to 'wet fingertip' phobia

The fear is real.

KRISTEN BELL CAN discuss the fact she caught pinworms off her children and still maintain an adoring public, so revealing that she has an irrational fear of wet fingertips is hardly going to lose her any fans.

And that’s exactly what she did while appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live this week.

Elaborating on an Instagram post shared by her husband, Dax Shepard, which featured the actress in a pair of ‘pool gloves’, Kristen explained that touching wet fingertips is enough to make her get sick.

I’m acutely aware of the ridges in fingertips. I can do it when they’re dry. But if they were wet, that’s a non-starter for me.

And she didn’t stop there.

I feel the ridges like a bassline at a club that’s too much. And when they’re wet, it’s like I’ll puke. I will truly puke. I have a physical nausea.

Naturally, Jimmy was all set to rip the piss out of the Frozen star, but Kristen was ready for him with, you know, some scientific facts to back up her case.

I would call it a very serious undiagnosed and yet-to-be discovered medical condition that… tens… of people in America might also suffer from.

And she’s all set to champion the cause.

I’m not ashamed because in my lifetime I want to remove the stigma of the – maybe – ten people who also suffer from it. You’re not alone. You’re not alone.

In a classic Jimmy move, he proved to Kristen that he too wants to play an active role in removing the stigma attached to, ehm, puking over wet fingertips.

Take a look at this.
