Poll: Are you thirsty for Kurt Russell's ridey Santa on Netflix?

Well?

IT’S THE MOST wonderful time of the year. The halls are decked, the stars are brightly shining and Kurt Russell is awakening a lust in people that they didn’t know they had.

If you have no idea what I’m talking about, allow me to point you towards the Netflix Christmas event of the year. No, not The Princess Switch or the Christmas Prince sequel -rather, The Christmas Chronicles.

Here’s what happens in it

When their mam is forced to work on Christmas Eve, brother andsister duo Kate and Teddy Pierce hatch a scheme to capture Santa Claus. When the plan goes awry and they accidentally derail his sleigh, the kids join forces with Saint Nick and his elves to save Christmas before it’s too late.

You’re thinking, “So far, so ‘bog standard Christmas movie’. However, this is far from your ordinary festive flick. Some critics are saying that The Christmas Chronicles reinvents the Christmas movie genre, and will satisfy the most cynical of grinches.

This is in no small part down to to Kurt Russell playing the man in red.

So, what’s the verdict – are you weak for Kurt Russell as Santa Claus?
