US Weekly is claiming that Tay is skipping Sunday’s VMAs – because Kanye West has been given a four-minute slot and “free reign” to do with it what he likes.

Sources tell US Weekly that Kanye will:

most likely perform “Famous,” the controversial song in which he takes credit for the “Blank Space” songstress’ fame.

Taylor hasn’t been nominated for any VMAs this year – which is the most likely explanation why she wouldn’t bother going. But it’s being reported that Taylor “had never planned on going to the ceremony” even before the nominations were announced.
