It’s all on the up and up and up for Ruth Negga – she’s just been nominated for the prestigious BAFTA Rising Star award, which is voted on by the public.

She joins the new Spider-Man Tom Holland and The Witch actress Anya Taylor-Joy on the shortlist:

Previous winners of the award include John Boyega, Tom Hardy, James McAvoy and Kristen Stewart, and the nominations lists read like a who’s who of Hollywood, so she’s in great company.

Voting is now open here, so get clicking if you want her to win. Come on Ruth!

Kylie Jenner’s 2017 calendar may have a rake of raunchy pics shot by Terry Richardson, but here’s one thing it doesn’t have: Accuracy.

Fans who ordered the calendar noticed that Kylie’s birthday is marked (in what appears to be her own handwriting) on August 20.

Here’s the thing though: Her birthday is on August 10. Durrr.

Kylie, it’s time to ring up your people and give out. They did you wrong on this one. (Cosmopolitan)

Angelina Jolie has said that ex-husband Brad Pitt is “terrified the public will learn the truth” about their divorce.

The couple agreed that the details of their separation should be sealed but in documents obtained by TMZ, Jolie’s lawyer said Pitt was trying to “deflect from his own role in the media storm which has engulfed the parties’ children.”

The documents also make reference to the FBI investigation into an ‘alleged altercation’ Pitt had in front of one or more of his children on a private jet:

There is little doubt that he would prefer to keep the entire case private, particularly given the detailed investigations by the FBI and the Department of Children and Family Services into allegations of abuse.

This is becoming very nasty indeed. (The Telegraph)
