SO, OF ALL the goings on at last night’s Oscars, including some dramatic speeches and glorious frocks, one fashion statement stood out as the most daring of the night.

It was, of course, Lady Gaga’s washing-up gloves that stole the evening.

She arrived on the red carpet looking divine, but talk quickly turned to those red gloves she was sporting
