A slick new coffee shop with an unusual name has just opened in Dublin 1
ROASTED BROWN IS one of the most popular coffee joints in the city centre.
Over the past few years, the Temple Bar coffee shop has acquired a reputation for serving some of the best coffee in the city and even started supplying coffee to other cafés and eateries in the city, including Fia in Rathgar.
Now the people behind Roasted Brown have opened a new café on Dublin’s Northside.
Introducing Laine, my love.
Located on Dublin’s Talbot Street, the coffee shop opened for business this morning. It has taken over the premises on 38 Talbot Street previously occupied by Wake Cup.
And it looks pretty slick. (No word yet as to the meaning behind the name.)
So, what can one expect from Laine, my love?
Well, great coffee, for one.
But the café also has a small breakfast and lunch menu. We’re particularly intrigued by the pancetta, poached pear and brie bun.

Treats will be supplied by Stoneybatter café Love Supreme, who know a thing or two about all things sweet.
Laine, my love. is open for business every day from 7.30am – 3pm.
