Led Zeppelin legend probably won't play Stairway to Heaven at Electric Picnic
ROBERT PLANT AND his band Sensational Space Shifters are among the latest artists to be announced for this year’s Electric Picnic festival.
Plant and the band play a mixture of Led Zep classics and new songs as part of their current set, including Friends, Black Dog and Whole Lotta Love.
They’re also known to play Going to California, Ramble on and Rock and Roll, but…
DENIED!
Here’s a sample of a setlist. See, No Stairway.

Maybe they’ll make an exception for the Stradbally crowd. We’re not holding our breath though. We’ll be happy with Going to California to be honest.
Ellie Goulding, Black Rebel Motorcyle, Irish band Little Green Cars, Terri Hooley, John Grant, Miles Kanes, Charli XCX and The Beat.
If you want to get your hand on the cheapest Electric Picnic tickets you have until 28 May to do so (€149.50 if you can prove you’ve been to three or more Picnics). After that a weekend ticket will cost €149.50, and after 28 July all tickets will cost €229.50.
Meanwhile Brazilian band CSS and Irish act Tieranniesaur have been added to the lineup for Tullamore’s Castlepalooza festival on 2-4 August.
