That's Michael Fassbender under that head...
(Film4/Twitter)
WITH PRODUCTION KICKING off in Albuquerque, New Mexico this week, the first official picture from the set of Irish director Lenny Abrahamson’s new film has been revealed.
‘Frank’ stars Michael Fassbender, Domhnall Gleeson and Maggie Gyllenhaal. It tells the story of a musician (Gleeson) who falls in with the mysterious Frank, played by Fassbender, who wears a huge fake head inspired by the comedy character Frank Sidebottom… which explains the picture from the set.
Production will move from America to Ireland at the end of this month. Abrahamson has taken some Irish crew with him for the stateside leg of the filming process.
His most recent film What Richard Did has been nominated for 11 IFTAS, and director Michael Bay has said that he cast Jack Reynor in Transformers 4 based on Reynor’s performance in “the great little Irish movie”.
But what did Abrahamson think of it all?
He also said of the Bay revelation:
Understandable.
So what does Transformers’ Michael Bay think of Irish actor Jack Reynor?
