Neil Patrick Harris' kids hatched a plan to catch a leprechaun, and it involves 'a lot of whiskey'
REMEMBER WHEN YOU were a kid and hatched all kinds of plans to coax Santa into living with you or getting the Easter Bunny to set up camp at the end of your garden?
You’d treat those lads so nice, that went without saying.
But when it came to leprechauns, you could generally take them or leave them because frankly, they weren’t exotic enough.
If, however, you grow up Stateside, leprechauns are about as exotic as it gets as the children of How I Met Your Mother actor, Neil Patrick Harris, proved this weekend.
In footage which was uploaded to Instagram this week, the actor’s children, Harper and Gideon, can be seen outlining their plan to snare themselves a leprechaun.
As you do.
There’s talk of a whole lot of whiskey, a whole sack of potatoes, and a little bribery in the form of some precious gems.
Generous, yes? And fair? Well, even more so.
Gideon and Harper, both 7, only ask for a week of any leprechaun’s time in exchange for the aforementioned goods.
Whether they’ve been successful or not, we’re still not sure, but hooch and spuds seems to be the way to go.
