The two ‘noisy howlers’ were picked up around Finglas yesterday after chasing a man on his bike, and the photo of them in a cell is HEARTBREAKING.

The @GardaTraffic account tweeted the photos of the pups yesterday afternoon, saying the dogs would be kept until this morning and then handed over to the pound.
The jokes came in fast
While they pleaded for the owners to claim the pups, people weren’t happy with quick turnover to the pound
The Garda confirmed this morning that the dogs have gone to the pound, but judging by some willing adopters, they will get out soon enough
UPDATE: The gardaí have confirmed to us that the dogs have been reunited with their owner.
ALL’S WELL.
