A pilot shared this heartwarming letter from passenger prompted by Germanwings tragedy
WITH THE RECENT Germanwings disaster still fresh in our minds, pilot Jai Dillion shared a letter his colleague received from an appreciative passenger.
The passenger Bethaine said she felt she had to write the letter in light of the recent tragedy to extend a ‘compassionate hand’.
She finished up by thanking the crew for getting her home safely to her family in England as she travels between home and her life in Spain and that they are the reason she can ‘smile tonight’.

Jai’s letter has been retweeted over 2,000 times since it was uploaded last night. He posted it, saying it provided “proof that we’re all in this together”, after the crash at the French Alps claimed the life of 150 people.
Just over the weekend, a Germanwings pilot made an emotional speech to the cabin to reassure uneasy passengers that they would arrive at their destination safely.
