Liam Gallagher has some nice things to say about James Corden after previously calling him a 'knobhead'
IF THERE’S ONE person who seems unwilling to admit when they’re wrong, it’s probably Liam Gallagher.
Earlier this year, Liam harshly slammed Jame Corden and his Carpool Karaoke, and said there was “no f**king chance” that he’d be willing to appear on the show.
Gallagher went on to call James Corden ‘that fat bloke from Kevin and Perry’, to which his partner Debbie Gwyther interrupted “It’s called Gavin and Stacey and you’ve never watched it.”
Liam said “I don’t need to watch it to know I won’t like it. James Corden is a knobhead.”
Corden responded to the comments by sarcastically saying “God, I just don’t know how we’ll carry on. I don’t know how we’ll even think of carrying on.”
Several months later, Gallagher now regrets his comments.
Maybe he’s trying to be difficult. Maybe he realised that the public don’t really like James Corden anymore after he kissed Sean Spicer at The Emmys. Anyway, he decided to make his new stance on James Corden public.
After making an appearance on The Late Late Show to perform one of his new tracks ‘Wall of Glass’ Liam tweeted about James, calling him ‘a fine chap’.
Them he went on in a typical Liam Gallagher style rant, explaining that he’s happy to admit he was wrong about James Corden.
It’s not easy admitting you’re wrong, in fairness to him.
It still seems unlikely that LG will be taking part in Carpool Karaoke, especially considering how Foo Fighters felt about their appearance. NME reported that the band found it ‘uncomfortable’ and said that ‘by hour three in dude’s car, it got less fun’.
