JOEY ESSEX IS just the man you want in your corner on the cusp of a general election.

The reality star interview Lib Dem leader Nick Clegg yesterday, and made some startling revelations.

1) He thinks Nick Clegg is alright looking

2) He thought they were called Liberal Democats. Cats. Not crats. Cats.

According to the Daily Mail:

Mr Clegg had to patiently explain that the party was not called ‘Demo-cats’, after Essex wondered why it had such a ‘weird’ name.’

So, the Lib Dems have changed their website logo from the traditional yellow bird to a yellow cat, because pandering to Joey Essex is going to win this whole damn thing for them.
