Lidl respond to Sainsbury's poster gaffe with their own excellent '50p challenge'

Well played.

EARLIER IN THE week, a Twitter user spotted this poster hanging in a Sainsbury’s supermarket.

It appeared to be put there in error, and contained a challenge to staff to encourage customers to sepnd an extra 50p every time they visited the store until the end of the year.

Awkward.

Well, Lidl have hit back with an excellent in-store and advertising campaign, asking their staff to do the exact opposite and help SAVE customers 50p every shop.

Well played. Your move, Aldi.
