Elton John met Lily Mae and dedicated Tiny Dancer to her during his concert last night
ELTON JOHN PLAYED the 3Arena last night, but not before meeting the most famous 6 year old in Ireland.
Lily Mae Morrison suffers from Stage IV neuroblastoma, a cancer of the nervous system that effects children. It’s extremely rare, only effecting 1 in 100,000 children in Ireland.
Her case was brought to public attention two years ago when her family arranged the release of a cover of Elton John’s Tiny Dancer to raise funds to fight the illness.
Last night–since he was in town–John met up with little Lily Mae and her family before his concert.

During the gig itself, he paid tribute to those who had dedicated their time to ensure the charity single could happen, before dedicating Tiny Dancer to Lily Mae.
