Line-up for Body & Soul festival revealed
THE THIRD ANNUAL Body & Soul festival will feature Villagers, M83 and Little Dragon.
The full line-up to take the stages at Ballinlough Castle in Westmeath was announced today.
Last year’s ‘Best Small Festival’ – which offers more than just music as theatre, poetry and art events all play their part – will take place over the June Summer Solstice weekend from 22 to 24 June.
More than 30 holistic therapists will be back at the lakeside Zen Gardens to offer pampering treatments, while artisan food stands, chilled cocktail stalls and green craft makers will all sell their wares.
Art installations, a secluded Soul Kids garden and bubbling hot tubs will be found on the winding pathways in the forest. The Saturday Night Masquerade Ball has also been announced.
Back on stage, Anne Erin Clark’s St Vincent will also play, as will the more uptempo Shangaan Electro. Organisers describe its music as a “bizarre but brilliant” mix of African folk and high-paced electro.
Others to make an appearance include Gold Panda, John Talabot, Redinho, Emika, The Herbaliser, Kormac’s Big Band and Meteor Music-nominated Irish act Tieranniesaur.
Tickets range from €83 to €127 and are available through Ticketmaster.
