Zoo offers to recycle Christmas trees as toys for lions
TIP FOR WHENEVER you’re stranded in the jungle, face to face with a lion: just offer it a bit of Christmas tree, and watch it become the average domesticated cat.
According to the BBC, Linton Zoo in the UK is asking the public to donate their Christmas trees so they can “recycle” them as big cat toys – the scent of the trees is almost like catnip to the African lions.
Just look at this pair, named Zuri and Safina, having a nice roll around in the pine needles.
